Ward Summer Fun Activity

A message from Katie and the Activities Committee:

Hi ward.

June 5th @ 5:00

We will be having a BBQ potluck, water games and an auction.

For those donating to the auction, please bring item by 6:00 p.m. If item will not be there, please bring a paper/coupon with information on it.

don't forget your wallets for the auction, and appropriate clothes in case you get wet.

AND
Don't forget towels!

A message from Nicole:
Katie would like for me to post the sign-up sheet to the blog, but that is proving to be difficult and time consuming, if you forgot what you signed up to bring - no problem!
Email me at guero(underscore)nikki@cox.net, and I will let you know!

Beginning Sewing Class

Mary Webster is teaching a VERY beginning sewing class!
Ladies who are interested in
LEARNING HOW TO USE YOUR SEWING MACHINE
will love this class!

June 9th at 10 a.m. at Mary Webster's home.
Please bring your sewing machines, scissors, thread, and machine book (if you have one).

Mary will be teaching us how to thread the machine, sew straight stitches, zigzags or whatever you want to know!

She needs to have a count of how many people are interested as soon as possible. Either post a reply on the blog or email Nicole at guero(underscore)nikki@cox.net

We may be able to make other arrangements if you are interested, but not able to attend on that day!

*PLEASE NOTE! There is no nursery available at this activity!

Reminders

Hi Ladies,

Here are a few reminders:

Book Club - This Thursday at Kish Neat's house. 7pm.

DI Back to School Drive

In case you were interested (this was mentioned in Ellie Pace's talk at Enrichment)...
Check out this site for your journaling needs:

LDS Journal

Both myself and my husband have been using it for quite some time.
Journals are password protected.
You can print them out in book form.
There are questions available to help you come up with a subject to journal about for the day.
There is an "All About Me" section to record your history for your posterity.
And the best part (as far as I am concerned) is that you can set your options so that you will receive an email reminder (as often as you like) if you do not journal - a prompt is sent to you reminding you to visit the site!

As a blogger, I have followed the Nielsen's story for some time. This is a family with a wonderful testimony to share with the world. I hope that you feel the Spirit as much as I did...

Activities Committee Summer Party!

a message from Katie Seguritan:

Activities Committee is working hard on an activity just for US!

June 5th @ 5:00

We will be having a BBQ potluck, water games and an auction.

don't forget your wallets for the auction, and appropriate clothes in case you get wet.

For those planning on donating an auction item, here's the plan: If you are donating something that will be given at a different date; babysitting, a dinner, etc. please bring a "coupon" for that item either to church on Sunday the 30th OR with you to the party on Saturday. All other items can be brought to the party. Auction begins @ 7:00 For potluck items, I will be putting together a reminder e-mail with what you signed up for. If you don't know what to bring, looks like we could use more watermelon. Thank you, Katie

If you have any questions - contact Katie Seguritan!
