As a blogger, I have followed the Nielsen's story for some time. This is a family with a wonderful testimony to share with the world. I hope that you feel the Spirit as much as I did...
I watched this a week or so ago and have put up this quote on my mirror, "To me beauty and motherhood are one, it's the same thing." It has really strengthened me as I get ready for the day to focus on what really makes me a beautiful person...(plus it's a good excuse not to wear makeup :)
This was SO inspirational! I downloaded it to my laptop and took it with me to Estrella Jail on Thursday. I taught the First Presidency Lesson from this month's Ensign, showed the video, and Omigosh they SO got it! If Stephanie can sing such a beautiful song with the obstacles she has, surely these sisters can search their hearts and find a song to sing and a way to be examples to others. Their experiences have not all been good, but good can come TO them and FROM them. They left the class inspired (as did I!) Thanks, Nikki, for posting this video!
* Do any of you have any cub scout stuff hiding in your closets? Any uniforms, neckerchiefs, hats, unused books, manuals, etc. They can become expensive to buy brand new and if anyone has them sitting around we will definitely be able to find a boy or leader that would appreciate them!
